"These sketches are modelling the new invention process that we are following at 2nd Road. I have been playing with the cognitive side of innovation for many years, building my ideas around metaphor as the core transformative language tool (English scholars know these transformative tools as 'tropes'). The tools are well instituted in our three day Thinking with Pictures course, but that juicy course is rarely given nowadays. This model revives those tools but puts them in the context of User based Design, and the critical transition between discovery and invention. I modelled this thinking system on my Notepad."
